Doctor's Orders...recorded Talking Rx provides an easy solution for understanding and following physician instructions, where the inability to do so may cause significant harm. With instructions recorded on a compact, reusable, self-contained, inexpensive device, Talking Rx helps patients comply with physicians' orders. This results in fewer noncompliance-related illnesses thus fewer emergency department visits and hospitalizations.
FEATURES:
Designed and patented by a pharmacist and a physician, Talking Rx helps patients take their medications as prescribed
Through a built-in digital memo recorder, the device provides up to sixty seconds of recorded instructions about a medical prescription: when to take the medication, how to take the medication, side effects and other important information from a patient's physician or pharmacist
Anyone; you, your physician, pharmacist, caregiver, family member or translator, can record the prescription information
The patient plays back these instructions by simply pressing the raised red button on the side of the device
Hold the prescription bottle at least three inches from your ear, push and release the red button on the side of the device and just listen and follow the pre-recorded instructions
Very useful and beneficial for: Seniors, patients with vision problems and those for whom English is not easily read or understood
Once the instructions are recorded and the bottle is inserted, it is securely attached and ready to use
When the prescription bottle is empty, you can remove, then attach it to a refill bottle or it can be re-recorded and attached to a new prescription bottle
