A modern styled talking clock that is totally voice controlled. Once set it up, using voice commands only, you can get the current time, the alarm time and sound, the sleep sound, and the date. All the information is yours just for the asking! In addition, the indoor temperature is announced in either Fahrenheit or Centigrade and it is displayed in different colors corresponding to the temperature.

Do I have to use voice-activated commands?
No, the time and alarm can be set by buttons located on the back of the clock. In addition, the clock can be touch activated for voice command or cancel a current voice command.
What type of IVR technology does the Moshi® IVR Alarm Clock use?
Our IVR technology utilizes an unique hybrid model of Neural Net and HMM Phonetic Speaker Independent (SI) Recognition software. This technology allows for large vocabulary recognition that is highly accurate, noise robust and capable of accommodating a wide variation of accents. Advanced features like word spotting, phrase spotting, and continuous recognition work together to eliminate the limitations of discrete word command-and-control, creating a more natural user interface. In addition, it only uses moderate amounts of memory, power, and virtually needs no CPU resources.
Do I need to program my voice into the Moshi® IVR Alarm Clock?
No, it will recognize your voice right out of the box. The Moshi IVR Alarm Clock uses voice recognition technology that is composed of hundreds of voice samples.
Is Moshi® IVR Alarm clock made for other languages?
While our technology is capable to host multiple languages, the Moshi IVR Alarm Clock is currently only available in English.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, there is a 1 year limited warranty

My Moshi® IVR Alarm Clock does not hear my commands.
It is important to remember that you cannot give a command while Moshi is speaking.
How do I know if the Moshi® IVR Alarm Clock is telling AM or PM time?
When clock is telling AM time there will be no icon on the display, but when in PM time, the icon "PM" will appear in upper left corner. In addition, when setting time if you do not specify AM or PM, it will automatically set to AM time.
My Moshi® IVR Alarm Clock confuses numbers when setting the time or alarm.
This is common in the English language. For example, it is common to confuse 9 and 5. Try again, speak loud and clear.
I cannot set the date by voice.
Set the date on the bottom side of the clock (refer to the user manual).
I cannot activate the alarm.
Verbally, say "set alarm" to turn the alarm on. To turn off or cancel the alarm, say "turn off the alarm". Manually, you can turn the alarm on by the switch located on the bottom side of the clock. The alarm icon on the display verifies that the alarm is activated.
Can I make the alarm sound louder?
No, but the alarm volume does increase during the minute it is played.
How do I interrupt my Moshi® IVR Alarm Clock?
Touch display to stop Moshi from speaking. During the help menu you can touch the display to stop it from speaking and then are able to give a command.
How do I turn off the sleep sound?
Touch the display.
How do I snooze the alarm?
Touching the screen gives you a snooze time of 9 minutes. Or the alarm will automatically snooze for 9 minutes if alarm is not turned off after a minute. The only way to turn OFF the alarm is by giving the command, "Turn off the Alarm".
Can I change temperature to Celsius?
When setting the date, you can choose Fahrenheit or Celsius (refer to user manual).
How do I reset Moshi®?
Remove batteries or use the reset button located on the bottom side.
Can Moshi® listen to a command when the sleep sound is playing?
No, Moshi cannot listen to a command when the sleep sound is playing. The sleep sound will turn off automatically after three minutes or by pressing the display.
