The Aquatec R is the newest model of battery powered lifts that will lower you to the bottom of your tub and then raise you back to the top, without having to strain knees, hips or shoulders. Reclining allows you to shampoo without getting soap in your eyes, or to lie back to enjoy the effects of the warm water. The lift lowers to 2.5" from the bottom of the tub, then the back support reclines 40 degrees. The Aquatec R fits a standard size tub and the Aquatec R Wide (+$450) will accommodate wider style spa / whirlpool tubs.
The Aquatec R Bathlift folds uniquely to the size of a small suitcase for storage and transport. The basic Aquatec R Bathlift weighs only 32 lbs. (14.5 kg) so transporting it in and out of the bathroom and the trunk of the car for vacations is a snap!
Simple to use, the Aquatec R Bathlift, lowers and reclines with the touch of a button. Simply charge the battery and insert it into the back support. With a fully charged battery, you can get up to 22 bath cycles on one charge. With a light touch of the button you can raise or lower yourself 2.5” from the tub floor. The backrest can be reclined 40° for additional relaxation or simply to shampoo.
The Aquatec R Bathlift is constructed from reinforced plastic and stainless steel components. The unit is operated with a push-button hand control. Covers are removable and machine washable. A unique safety feature will not allow the lift to lower if there is not enough battery power.
