The following only applies to continental U.S. Deliveries. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser and will be added to your invoice.

Delivery & Processing Charges

The following processing and delivery costs are for in-stock merchandise pictured and described on our web site; delivery and processing charges include internet order processing, item selection, packaging, processing, transport and handling. Delivery times are determined by the shipper, and these are a best approximation, not withstanding additional premium delivery charges and whether the item is in stock at the time of purchase. Delivery times are not guaranteed by ELDERLUXE and may vary by item and/or with specific requests, such as gift box, gift wrap and monogramming. Also note that most carriers will not deliver on federal or nationally recognized holidays. Once successfully transferred to our chosen shipping partner(s), ELDERLUXE will not assume liability for late deliveries as multiple factors can impact delivery times outside of our direct control.

Delivery and processing is subject to change and will be determined at time of order. Factors impacting shipping include carrier shipping days, in-stock availability, third party warehouse shipments, weather/acts of God, and other limiting circumstances. Once shipped, we cannot be held liable for shipper delays to weather and other acts of god, or issues driven by shipper complications.

Standard Delivery

Unless an expedited service is requested, or should the item be backordered, your order should ship within 24-48 hours and arrive in approximately 5-7 business days after, if ordered by 12:00 noon (CST). Note: certain items may be back ordered or not immediately in stock and could take longer to ship. NOTE: Shipments to AK/HI, US Territories and International/non-US destinations will be quoted separately.

Two-Day Delivery

Your order should arrive in 2 business days after shipping if ordered by 12:00 noon (CST) Monday-Friday. Please note two-day orders placed Friday after 12:00 noon (CST) or Saturday will be processed Monday and should arrive in 2 business days after shipping. Some heavy or bulky items may not qualify for this service. Some items delivered direct from the manufacturer are not qualified for expedited shipping. A signature may be required and additional charges may be assessed if more than one attempt is made for delivery. Note: certain items may be back ordered or not immediately in stock and could take longer to ship. ELDERLUXE does not assume liability for late arrival of express/priority shipments of goods delivered by our third-party carriers NOTE: Shipments to AK/HI, US Territories and International/non-US destinations will be quoted separately.

Overnight Delivery

Your order should arrive the next business day after shipping if ordered by 12:00 noon (CST). Please note overnight orders placed Friday after 12:00 noon (CST) or Saturday will be processed Monday and should arrive the next business day after shipping. Some heavy or bulky items may not qualify for this service. Oversized/Overweight

Due to the oversized and/or overweight nature of certain merchandise, additional delivery charges may apply and will be quoted separately to you via email post-purchase for your approval prior to processing (via separate email). As well shipments to AK/HI, US Territories and International/non-US destinations will be quoted separately.

Custom Build Items

Most custom build/larger items will be shipped by a third party separately and can often take several weeks to complete and ship. You will be contacted once an estimated shipping time is available.  You will be charged immediately for all custom build items after your order is placed and in advance of the actual item build taking place.

International and Shipment to AK/HI and all US Territories

All deliveries to International, Alaska, Hawaii and all US Territories (non-contiguous 48 states) destinations will be charged the domestic rate shown at checkout (based on dollar value of the order) plus any additional costs to ship via our selected shipper to that destination. For a quote you may call ahead to our concierge at 1.888.537.5893 (Intl. 011-773-376-3776)or e-mail concierge@elderluxe.com. Otherwise, you will receive a separate estimate for shipping to your given designation via email from our concierge and a link to which you may purchase the postage.  NOTE: Postage charges do not include any Customs Duties, Taxes, GST, VAT, Brokerage fees or any other expenses incremental based on carrier, local law and/or custom and are the sole responsibility of the named recipient(s).  

On discounted or FREE or Shipping Included items, we will quote you a separate, discounted rate to these areas outside the continental US. Larger and bulkier items will be charged at quoted rates based on destination, weight and dimensional pricing as determined by carrier.

DS

DS items are shipped directly from the manufacturer to your door. Second-day and overnight shipping may not be available on these items. We will contact you if you request overnight or rush delivery and it is not available. Additional time should be allowed for processing the order, and heavy items may take up to two to four weeks for delivery. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding when you will receive your order.

Partial Deliveries

When orders list several items, some of which are not in stock at the time of the order, we will fulfill and charge the portions available including shipping based on order value. Subsequent backordered items will not include additional shipping charge

Delivery to Post Office Boxes

At this time, shipping is not available to post office boxes.

"Shipping Included" Items:

Certain items may include shipping within the price of the merchandise you select. These products will carry an Includes Shipping notation on the product page and you will not be charged additional shipping at checkout.

Note on COVID and other Issues affecting Deliveries within the US and Globally

We know these are difficult times for everyone, and we have been so grateful for the positive messages we've received from our customer community. We are closely following official regulations to ensure we are prioritizing the well-being of both our staff and customers. This means we are operating with smaller teams and shorter shifts. As a result both US and international orders could take 10 - 20 working days (or more) to be delivered and International orders may take longer.

But please rest assured your order will still be delivered to you as quickly and as safely as possible. We appreciate your patience in these difficult times. We recommend monitoring the carriers and/or local postal service for up-to-date information on deliveries in your local area, as these vary from region to region. Please feel free to reach out to us anytime if there are any concerns about any order in transit. Because the situation is complex and constantly developing, our delivery times may also change, and we will endeavour to do our best to manage through it. Rest assured that we are following the situation closely, if anything changes, we’ll let you know.

FAQs

Q: 'How long will my order take to be delivered?' US orders could take 10 - 20 working days to be delivered and International orders may take longer. But please rest assured your order will still be delivered to you as quickly and as safely as possible.

Q: 'Is my order still coming?' There may be a delay with your order, but rest assured it is on its way to you. We recommend keeping an eye on your local postal service's website for up to date info on the current status of the delivery service, as this varies from area to area.

Q: 'What extra precautions are in place at the warehouse?' It has been determined that the likelihood of being exposed to Covid-19 through shipped items is very low. We are taking all necessary precautions in accordance with the guidelines set by the CDC and WHO. We have introduced social distancing measures, maintaining a 6-foot distance between each station.

Q: 'Non contact postage' Some local delivery services are opting to use 'non contact delivery' - a method that involves the postal worker knocking your door and leaving the parcel on your doorstep instead of handing it to you directly, to avoid direct human contact.

Q: 'My order has reached my country but the tracking hasn't been updated for a few days.' Unfortunately, we are experiencing delays with some orders at the customs stage of the delivery as parcels move between countries, particularly for orders with a Canadian delivery address. This is due to limited transportation availability and current safeguarding restrictions set by local government, which has reduced the amount of staff able to work at one time. Customs are also prioritizing shipments of medical equipment over commercial packages. Your parcel may be stuck at this stage for a few days as customs prioritize packages but it will be on its way to you soon.
